Warranty

Nakoa The Label apologizes if you have received an item that is not in absolutely perfect condition. In the unfortunate event that you have received a faulty Nakoa The Label product, please contact us immediately:

Email: hello@nakoathelabel.com.au

Please note that we do require a photograph of the faulty item via email and proof of purchase.

Please note, warranty is for manufacturing faults and excludes any damage from daily wear and tear from use.

Leather:

Please note that leather is a natural product and is beautifully imperfect. As all our leather pieces are lovingly hand crafted, each piece will vary slightly in natural markings, texture and colour, making each piece unique. Please be mindful that this is not a flaw and small variations do occur and as a result are not a fault.

Jewellery:

Please note, our jewellery pieces are very delicate and should be handled carefully as explained in our product descriptions for each item.

This warranty is provided to you under the Australian Consumer Law and does not cover any defect which is caused (or partly caused) or contributed to, by any:

  1. Loss of your products
  2. Chain breakage (unless caused by improper workmanship or materials)
  3. Reasonable wear and tear of your products, including tarnishing and fading of plated jewellery
  4. Act or omission, accident, or negligence by you or any third party
  5. Failure on your part to follow any instructions provided by us in relation to your products.
  6. Use of your products otherwise than for use specified
  7. Failure by you to notify us of any defect in your products within a reasonable period of time

To claim the benefit of this warranty you must notify us as soon as you become aware that the product is defective with evidence of your proof of purchase of your products, plus a detailed description and photographs of the claimed defect.

Upon reviewing evidence supplied by you, if the defective item is required to be returned, you must return the product together with all original packaging, parts, accessories and documentation in original condition as required to assess your claim.

Sunglasses:

Fashion sunnies require careful treatment. Improper care can damage lenses and frames, resulting in scratches, haziness and warp the overall shape of your sunglasses.

  1. Always use your complimentary carry case when not wearing your sunglasses to protect them.
  2. Avoid contact with chemicals, especially household cleaners as they may ruin or damage the lenses. Please always use sprays designed for eyewear.

Our sunglasses warranty policy only covers any manufacturing defects.
